Pyrolysis gas/syngas
The non-condensable phase of the Syngas produced in the pyrolysis process has a considerable heating value and is ideal for powering a boiler producing heat and power. Syngas can also be post-processed to become methane or hydrogen.
Pyrolysis gas/syngas
The intermediate thermochemical process converts biomass to defined BioCarbon and condensable and non-condensable pyrolysis gas.
Burning the Syngas can be ideal to create a fossil free heat or cooling for CHP systems or nearby industries.
The pyrolysis gas contains significant amounts of hydrogen (H2), methane, carbon monoxide, and dioxide, and other higher hydrocarbons that builds the calorific value. If the Syngas is upgraded, it can be an important fuel for the chemical or metallurgical industry.
